AIMS BABICH

They/Them

Aims' personal journey pursuing holistic and alternative healthcare begin in their late teens, while they were navigating their own mental health treatment and recovery from complex trauma and other mental health struggles. They were utilizing various kinds of talk therapy interventions, but constantly found there was a disconnect in verbal processing and being able to integrate and embody true healing. After researching many different forms of alternative healing, they found Trauma Touch Therapy and began to experience true breakthroughs. Aims received their massage therapy certification from the Denver Integrative Massage School in 2016 and opened their practice, Wholesome Healing LLC, in Denver, CO, with the intention of focusing on providing trauma informed bodywork for survivors. Soon thereafter, they became attuned as a Reiki Master to expand their healing services. Babich also received training from the Somatic Experiencing Institute in Boulder, Colorado from 2018-2020. They received their undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where the emphasis of their learnings was in Psychology and Integrative Healthcare.

In addition to their massage and bodywork practice, Aims works in the mental health field, focusing in eating disorders, transgender and gender expansive care, neurodivergent accessibility, and survivors of complex trauma. They also consult at an international level as a trainer/facilitator, curriculum developer, speaker, and mentor in the anti-trafficking and modern day slavery field.
